Evidence-based design

Found an interesting article on Evidence-based design posted on the blog buildingsenses.wordpress.com. It stresses the importance of bridging the gap between academic research (in this case on environmental psychology) and architecture. Designers can have a great impact on feelings, behavior, health and happiness of users by incorporation of research outcomes in their designs of spaces and buildings.

In future blogs I will search for and share results of scientific research relevant for interior design projects.
